What is Community Supported Agriculture?

Know your farmer.
Know your food.

Participating in a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program is a great way to learn the rhythms of seasonal produce and to discover new, locally grown vegetables. CSA members support our business by purchasing a share before the season begins. This income is critical for covering the costs of the season’s production. For the consumer, their purchase is an investment in healthy, local food. Purchasing a CSA Share makes you an active and educated contributor to your local food system.

As a Turkey River Farm CSA member you will receive the following:

  • The highest quality produce, free from chemical herbicides, pesticides, and synthetic fertilizers.
  • Weekly email newsletter chock full of information about seasonal produce, local food, recipes, farm events and more.
  • Reusable insulated Turkey River Farm produce bag.

“Wonderful farmers and wonderful food. We have been buying from Turkey River Farm for several years and signed up for a CSA the first year it was available. We love the quality and freshness of the produce. We have also tried new types of veggies and love the menu and recipe suggestions. The whole Farm family have become friends and we can hardly wait for the new season to begin. We are beginning to crave that fresh new baby greens salad mix this spring and are looking forward to the ever changing variety of veggies all summer and into the fall. Nothing compares to the quality of a CSA share.”
